Hey y’all, apologies for not being in touch sooner about our upcoming Gap Year Bookclub meeting! We hope you’ve all had a very happy Thanksgiving break.
We plan to meet to discuss Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein this Saturday at 6pm. When thinking about the menu I got excited about Dr. Frankenstein’s origin in Geneva, Switzerland. Fondue is a very group friendly food and many of the foods from the Alpine region are well suited for cold winter weather (ie, heavy dairy based foods.)
Here’s what I came up with:
If you’re able, we ask that you contribute $10 towards the meal to help cover the cost of drinks and foods. Please RSVP ASAP so I know how much food to buy!
We won’t have any strictly vegan foods but will have plenty of veggies and salad to supplement appetites. If you have any questions about menu items please don’t hesitate to reach out!
